thrive: A Journey to Optimal Women’s Health

Course begins February 2022

How are you feeling?

Too often, we ignore symptoms of hormonal imbalance because we have accepted them as normal.  Fatigue, headaches, insomnia, emotional eating, menstrual issues – these things have become “regular” for so many women.  We just take a pill, drink a cup of coffee, or if we’re at all aware – maybe take some supplements.  Modern medicine has learned to lean on drugs that more than often do not fix the underlying issue and can make it worse or give us tons of horrible side effects.

“Thrive” is a course focused on women’s health where we’ll be covering topics such as hormones, stress, fertility, menstrual issues, PCOS, breast health, birth control, heart health, and other common issues that women face from their teens through their post-menopausal years. Taught by an Ayurvedic Wellness Leader and an Acupuncturist, who is an expert in Traditional Chinese Medicine, this course will teach us not just how to HEAL from illness, but also prevent illness through simple nutritional, lifestyle, and stress management shifts.  There will be three other guest teachers throughout the course, and we will be using the text, Balance Your Hormones, Balance Your Life by Dr. Claudia Welch..

Daniele Gates

Are You Ready to Join Me on the LiveYinsa Journey?

Hi!  I’m Daniele Gates, founder and creative director of Yinsa. These days you can usually find me at the beach or the farmers market, but in real life I’m teaching History at an international school in the Bronx and bathing in essential oils and various herbal concoctions.  My friends call me the yoga fairy – I bring yoga and ayurvedic wellness to communities across various digital and real-life, in-person platforms through workshops, classes, and trainings.  I’m passionate about making Ayurveda as mainstream as astrology.  I work with clients who are struggling with doing inner work, healing from trauma, making major life changes, and sometimes feel like a “hot mess.” They are usually generous individuals who need to figure out how to fill their own cup. Using Ayurveda and the chakra system as a lens, my clients leave me with an understanding of lifestyle choices that feel safe and grounded.  They have learned how to say either hell no, (or hell yes), and they are confident, driven, and can execute their creative ideas.

Joannie Campuzano

Joannie Campuzano is an acupuncturist, herbalist, and wellness coach specializing in the treatment of fertility, mood disorders, and pain. She is also certified in facial rejuvenation acupuncture and vaginal steaming. She graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine with a Masters in Chinese Medicine. She descends from a Latin American lineage of healers and herbalists. From a young age, she knew that she wanted to help people in the same way her father healed many people in her community. While in college, her mother suffered from a stroke, and Joannie saw that her mother experienced a faster recovery once acupuncture was added to her treatments. Since then, Joannie knew that a career in Chinese Medicine was the path she was destined to follow in order to heal her community.  After she graduated with a Bachelor’s in Biology, she decided to get her Master’s in Chinese Medicine and become an Acupuncturist. Joannie’s mission and purpose is to bring relief to her patients suffering with psycho-emotional issues, infertility, and chronic pain. Her goal is to help every single person she works with to reconnect with that inner healing wisdom. To help you live a life full of meaning and joy. Joannie loves going to community events, listening to music, and collecting crystals

What if I don’t do the readings?

You will still gain so much information just by watching the videos and/or doing the worksheets, but to truly “thrive” we recommend taking the time to read.
